The Shield managed a clean sweep of Evolution in last nights Elimination match at the Payback Pay-Per-View, but that victory may have come at a heavy price for one of the members.

According to multiple reports, Roman Reigns - the frontman of the group - apparently suffered a torn tricep in the match which could put him out of action for a while if diagnosed as such.

Reigns himself mentioned in the Payback after-show on the WWE Network that he suffered the injury but it is not yet fully known if the tear is a work or real, or if Reigns was just hyping how intense the match against Triple H, Randy Orton and Batista was.

However a fan outside the arena last night noted that even then Reigns was still holding his arm and looked in a lot of pain, not posing for any pictures or autographs.

If it is a fully blown tear that Reigns has suffered then he could be looking at a good few months on the sidelines, which would be a massive blow considering how much his stock has risen and how he is expected to be the new guy in the WWE.
