WWE: Seth Rollins heel turn was not written into WWE script

Football News

The major news in the WWE this week has centered around Seth Rollins sensational heel turn against his former Shield allies during WWE Raw Monday night, but recent reports have questioned just how planned this dramatic event was.

Rollins went against Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns in Indianapolis, joining Triple H's Evolution in a twist that has certainly got the WWE community talking but according to PWInsider the shock heel turn was not included in the scripts used in the run up to Raw.

Events unfolded when HHH went against the scheduled Randy Orton vs. Roman Reigns match up that fans had expected to see with what he termed as 'plan B', and if the reports can be believed then it looks like the WWE hierarchy had not conceived the plot until late on.

PWInsider notes that it was in fact a Kane vs. John Cena match up that had been given the main event position in Monday night's RAW script with the Rollins heel turn given no mention at all.

Clearly however something changed. Whether it was Triple H who made the call or the WWE had been hiding their plans in fear of the script being leaked (as has happened in recent weeks) they certainly achieved their goal with Rollins betrayal of his teammates coming as a surprise to almost everyone.

The dramatic events of the past few days prove that you can never second guess the WWE.
