WWE: Ronda Rousey and The Shield could join forces at SummerSlam

Ronda Rousey could be on the verge of her WWE debut this summer, with reports suggesting that the UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion will be present at the SummerSlam wrestling pay-per-view event.

The reasoning behind the report is because of The Shield's recent break-up on Monday Night Raw, with Seth Rollins turning heel and joining Triple H whilst betraying former partners Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns.

UFC's leading lady, Rousey, filmed herself watching the footage on Raw and that begs the question, why did she do that?

It has been said that she did that because of some kind of plan for her to join forces with The Shield at SummerSlam, which would pretty awesome when you think about it.

Whether that happens or not yet remains to be seen. There is still quite a lot of time between now and August 17 when SummerSlam hits LA.

But for now, take these quotes from the examiner and make your own conclusion on whether you think Rousey might do the spectacular and join the WWE for one night only.

"It seems a bit strange that Rousey would film herself watching WWE Monday Night Raw, unless her upcoming rumored appearance at WWE SummerSlam had something to do with it," the reports states.

"Now that The Shield has an opening for a third member, perhaps the WWE could script Rousey to align herself with the tag-team supergroup during WWE SummerSlam."
