WWE: Daniel Bryan to join The Shield is gaining momentum

WWE is facing some big questions that must be answered in the near future, but according to a recent poll they could solve them both with one simple solution.

With the future of fan's favorite Daniel Bryan in doubt due to his recent injury concerns, and The Shield one member light following the heel turn of Seth Rollins, it seems that the organization's audience would love to see the WWE kill two birds with one stone and place Bryan as the third member of The Shield going forward.

In a poll published on the WWE's official website, asking fans who they wanted to see as a potential new member alongside Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns, Daniel Bryan gained over 43 percent of the 96,000 votes cast - beating out five other WWE superstars in the vote.

Quite an endorsement for the recuperating star.

John Morrison came second in the poll with 17%, whilst seven percent declared they would prefer The Shield to continue as a duo rather than welcoming in a new wrestler to their company.

Bryan is currently on the road to recovery following shoulder surgery, and is scheduled to fight at Money in the Bank should he have recovered in time.

The WWE hierarchy however is worried that he may not be able to defend his title and thus his Heavyweight Champion title is in doubt. A storyline which would place Bryan in The Shield would at least therefore offer some future progression for Bryan as he looks to return to the heights reached at WrestleMania XXX in April.

What do you think? Would Bryan to The Shield be a good move?
