Rumours abound that Daniel Bryan will be forced to give up his WWE World Heavyweight Championship belt on Raw tonight after not being cleared as medically fit to compete at the Money In The Bank pay-per-view after neck surgery.

According to PWMania, Bryan learned this bad news from his doctors this past Thursday or Friday and WWE officials were made aware also. It’s expected that Bryan will be officially stripped on RAW tonight and that the Money In the Bank Ladder Match will officially be announced for the title.

It’s said that officials have already decided on who the next WWE World Heavyweight Champion will be but we don’t know who that is yet.

The company had hoped for Bryant to be fit for the PPV but it hasn't transpired. The whole storyline they had built up with his wife Brie Bella quitting the company has been all for naught.

Bryan won the WWE Heavyweight Championship against the odds at the Grandest Stage of them All Wrestlemania in defeating Triple H then Randy Orton and Batista. But with his injury and recovery being more serious and going slower than anticipated it seems that the company has finally given up in a bid to give the fans a fighting champion rather than one who just comes out and says a few words here and there.
