LA Kings Forward Jeff Carter has given the Kings the biggest chance of winning the Stanley Cup after he opened the scoring against the New York Rangers.

With just .7 seconds left in the first period, Carter found the way past Henrik Lundqvist to give them a 1-0 lead in the game.

The Kings entered the game with 2-0 series lead and with game three being the first to be played in New York many expected the Rangers to be much better on home ice.

At the intermission before the final period in the game, the Kings were 3-0 up and looking likely to give themselves a 3-0 series lead and move just one game away from winning the Stanley Cup.
