GMS academy member Graham Leydon has decided to profile how he thinks each and every one of the 48 group-stage clashes will unfold at a South American showpiece which is now under 24 hours away, continuing with Group B.
Netherlands will top the group only just on goal difference, this is a hard group to break down in terms of who will qualify though.
The Netherlands will top the group with five points, that's genuinely how tough it will be, they will beat Australia 4-0 which is what gets them through, as they will draw 1-1 with Spain and Chile. They may sneak wins against Spain or Chile but as both teams are defensively solid but good attacking-wise, Netherlands will manage to keep both teams at bay despite the concerns that are on their defence.
Robin Van Persie will score two goals, with Arjen Robben, Rafael Van Der Vaart and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar scoring one each.
Spain may have to settle for second through, also with five point but a lower goal difference, as they will win 3-0 against Australia, while 1-1 draws against Netherlands and Chile ensures second for them in the group.
Diego Costa will score two, with David Silva, Iniesta and Cesc Fabregas all scoring a goal each.
Chile will finish in third with five points but also the lowest of the three teams in terms of goal difference which does not see them go through. They will draw 1-1 with Spain and Netherlands, but it's a 3-1 win against Australia which will knock them out.
Alexis Sanchez and Eduardo Vargas will score two each with Arturo Vidal the other goal.
Australia will sadly be bottom of the group with no points and only one goal to their name, they will have a 3-0 loss to Spain with a 4-0 loss to Netherlands as well, followed up by a 3-1 loss to Chile, the scorer of that goal being Tim Cahill.
