World Cup 2014 Goalkeepers: Good, bad and ugly (2)

The Good - Guillermo Ochoa (Mexico)

Football News

The Mexican was outstanding in their match against the hosts Brazil, saving every shot that came hurtling at his goal.

Brazil were favourites to win the game and with the likes of Neymar, Oscar and Fred taking shots for fun at the Mexico goal, it looked like it could have been a rout.

But Ochoa kept them in it, and his best save by far, was when he denied the South American’s captain, Thiago Silva, after the PSG star headed at goal from about five yards out.

Since his amazing performance on Tuesday night, the 28-year-old keeper has received plenty of interest, and will not be without any suitors, following his release from French club AC Ajaccio.
