Lewis Hamilton's unbelievable first lap has forced himself into this week's top five driver performances.
Hamilton had to come through from ninth on the grid after some crucial mistakes in qualifying session three on Saturday but by the end of lap one of the Grand Prix he was up to fourth.
He shot off the line and was brave in attacking other drivers early on, showing real determination in the early stages to attain for his errors the previous day.
A second place finish, as he said himself, was damage limitation. But i can't help but feel the wonderful start somewhat papered over the cracks and diverted attention away from the poor qualifying result and the pressure he is feeling.
