Arsene Wenger seems to be stepping up his transfer business for Arsenal as the Frenchman looks to add significant firepower to the Gunners this summer.

Reports are that Wenger has been wheeling and dealing during his travels to Brazil, speaking to agents and scouting international stars.

As the summer moves forward and newspapers continue to speculate, it is fast becoming clear who Wenger is really interested in buying and who he is interested in selling.

It is clear Arsenal need a striker, but who will be playing at the Emirates Stadium on August 16th? Mario Balotelli has been linked but so has Loic Remy. Both are reportedly available, but Arsenal fans would undoubtedly prefer the razamataz of the Italian instead of the France international.

Elsewhere in the squad, Wenger will be looking to strengthen his defence, including a new goalkeeper following the departure of Lukasz Fabianski. Midfield also needs some beefing up.

So it looks like the Arsenal squad could be quite different by the time they play Crystal Palace, but what would Wenger's ideal squad look like? Using reports from around the world, we'll decipher who Wenger wants to sign, and who he wants to boot out.
