The Swedish magician who has been a part of seven different clubs could replace Paris Saint-Germain with a club established in June 2013 soon after the summer transfer window opening.
Slightly unhappy because his national team haven't qualified for the World Cup, Ibrahimovic will direct his focus on earning a transfer outside of France. Some players, like Zlatan, love to sign for rich clubs like Manchester City, AS Monaco etc.
The newest club like these two on the market is New York City FC. One-year-old club has already ensured David Villa's signature who was immidiately sent out on loan to Melbourne FC, where he will be playing 10 games for the Australian team, before returning to his new surroundings in January, right when the season starts for this team.
According to Bleacher Report, Ibrahimovic is just one of six players the club are targetting for their debut season in the MLS. Alongside him, there are Frank Lampard, Xavi, Carlos Tevez, Andrea Pirlo and Ronaldinho as the potential signings.
This troublemaker should go for a hefty fee, but that doesn't present a problem for the club's rich owners. He is currently valued at just 24 million pounds, although the French team will surely look for more than 30 million.
Ibrahimovic's contract is expiring in July 2015, so that could be an extra bonus for the American team. Should they go for him now or wait until summer next year? At that time, he will already be 33. But in his case, age doesn't matter. The older he is, the better he gets – just like wine.
