Manchester United winger Adnan Januzaj is yet to really make his mark at this summer's World Cup, having been restricted to one solitary appearance for Belgium during the group stages in Brazil.
But, if this training ground video is anything to go by, the 19-year-old is ready for further involvement in the knockout phase, after scoring a sumptuous volley to cap a brilliant end to his country's session on Saturday.
Red Devils boss Marc Wilmots hauled Januzaj off after an ineffective 60 minute showing against South Korea last week, but might be tempted to deploy the Manchester United man again when Belgium take on the United States in the last 16 at the Arena Fonte Nova in Salvador on Tuesday.
Latching on to a delicately chipped Axel Witsel cross, the attacking midfielder unleashed an unstoppable left-footed drive which nestled in the bottom left corner.
Flash of brilliance
Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet was helpless to prevent the goal, and Januzaj was congratulated by a number of his team-mates as they slowly trotted off the field.
Manchester United supporters will be delighted to see this kind of skill showcased by one of their most exciting young talents, and will look forward to welcoming the teenager back to Old Trafford ahead of the 2014/15 campaign.
