Barcelona taunted rivals Real Madrid in a video they put together to welcome latest signing Ivan Rakitic by reminding them of one particularly embarrassing incident for one Santiago Bernabeu.
Rakitic's move from Sevilla to the Camp Nou was confirmed on Tuesday as the summer transfer window opened and they marked the occasion with a delightful little video of some of his best bits.
It is a very impressive video of the Croatia international and goes some way to explain why Barcelona had to fight off the likes of Premier League giants Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool to sign him.
The celebratory video begins with a mock-up of Rakitic being hand drawn on paper, which is a bit weird but there you go, and then moves on to some clips of the 26-year-old showing what he is worth for Sevilla. It's fair to say the then Sevilla captain was pretty impressive for most of last season, but the first up on the highlights reel is surely a dig at Real Madrid.
Carlo Ancelotti's side traveled to Sevilla last season and were handed a shock defeat that dealt a huge blow to their La Liga title hopes. Cristiano Ronaldo had given los Blancos the lead early on, but they were hauled back thanks to two goals from Colombia striker Carlos Bacca.
It was the winning goal that was really special though, and Madrid defender Pepe will surely be red-faced at the the memory of Rakitic making him look pretty silly. The ball is played forward to the Croat with his back to goal on the halfway line and the Portugal international is bearing down on him, possibly with the intention of clearing him out.
However, Rakitic knows Pepe is there and pull off a sublime flick over the centre-back's head, spins to leave him grabbing air, drives towards the Madrid box and plays a perfectly weighted through ball for Bacca to bury the winner.

While they do not explicitly say that this is a dig at their arch-rivals, beginning with Pepe getting schooled by their new signing was hardly going to be put together innocently in the Barcelona video-making office.
There are eventually some clips of him scoring against the Catalan club, but we know what they're up to.
