Frank Lampard has confirmed that he'll reveal his new transfer destination shortly.
Lampard, who is Chelsea's highest goalscorer with 211 goals to his name in a career that spanned for over 13 years, has been in serious talks with MLS Franchise New York City who recently signed another Premier League star David Villa.
The Chelsea midfielder said he'll reveal his decision imminently.
"At the moment I have got a few options," he told Sky Sports News. "There is no exclusive but I will be making a decision very shortly."
Lampard recently won his 106th cap for England against Costa Rica in the team's recently ended World Cup campaign. He believes that the very game was his last and he'll consider calling time on his career.
"Of course I would like to play for England again," he said. "But maybe you cannot play for ever so again I've switched off for the moment.
"I have not made that decision either. I'm very aware that my England career cannot go on for ever and I have enjoyed every minute so we will see.
"It will be a difficult decision but at the end of the day I would not ever have dreamed of having such an England career so I can only be happy with whatever decision I make."
Talk about the glories, the triumphs, and his success, Lampard enjoyed a whole lot of it in his tenure at Stamford Bridge. He won three Premier League titles, the Champions League, the Europa League, four FA Cups and two League Cups in those 13 unforgettable years.
Unfortunately, he couldn't win a FIFA World Cup like many of England's great players, but he still stays in everyones hearts as a legend whose contributions to English Football are invaluable.
