$55m fee

The newspaper, which is the second largest in Chile, published a main headline story on Friday, not just in their sport section, saying that the Juventus star's agent is close to completing a deal with the Red Devils for a fee of $55m.

The newspaper states that the Manchester club took advantage of the fact that Vidal's agent has been in England to complete the transfer of Alexis Sanchez to Arsenal, all the while working hard to fight off numerous competitors.

Evra included in the deal?

Patrice Evra has reportedly been used as a makeweight in the deal, and a potential transfer to Juventus for the Frenchman has helped the Old Trafford club open talks with the Serie A champions for Vidal, according to reports in England.

It is difficult to tell how much of this information is reliable, but there is one thing for certain and that is those in Chile are now convinced that their World Cup star is on his way to Manchester United.
