Los Angeles Kings Center Anze Kopitar has uploaded pictures to his social media accounts of him and a very special family member putting the Stanley Cup trophy to good use.

So many different things have been done with the trophy over the years but now Kopitar may have found something that had never been done before.

After his Kings team-mates Justin Williams and the man who won the Cup for LA, Alec Martinez tested what they could and couldn't do with the trophy on Jimmy Kimmel, Kopitar stopped asking for permission.

The Slovenian had taken the trophy on a tour of his home town for the second time and one morning after waking up, maybe his bowls were all dirty?

Whatever the reason for why he did it, Kopitar saw fit to pour his morning cereal into the top of the Kings newest and proudest possession.

Kopitar wasn't alone in the meal however as a miniature Stanley cup was purchased and his dog Gustl dined with him.

The picture, uploaded to Twitter and Instagram was not the only one uploaded by the legendary keeper of the cup, Philip Pritchard.

Kopitar took it on a helicopter ride and was pictured showing it off in front of large crowds before his final funny picture with the trophy.

With the caption reading "the Stanley Cup has a shower in Slovenia...." the picture shows the cup doing just that.

Always moving

The infamous trophy will be going to Russia next on its tour and has certainly moved a long way in just a short space of time.

Since it was first handed to the Kings in LA a month ago following their 2OT win over the New York Rangers in Game five of the finals, the trophy has made many stops.

The Kings will now be preparing for their defense of their second Stanley Cup in three years.

Many expect to see the Kings in the finals yet again next year and if they can repeat their heroics from last season, who knows what new things the Kings players will find to do with the trophy.
