We have all seen our fair share of incredible own goals, but you would be hard pressed to find a better one than Milan Gajic's for Swiss side St Gallen.

The Serbian midfielder look visibly stunned following the strike, hit sweetly from outside the box to fly past his Young Boys teammate and into the top corner. Ironically, Gajic is unlikely to hit a sweeter shot in his career.

His effort was made all the more bizarre by the fact that he had the time to clear the ball towards the end of the pitch he was supposed to be kicking it - the other way.

Late equaliser

Instead, the 27-year-old tried to hammer to ball away for a corner, but stunned everyone when the ball dipped below the bar.

To add insult to injury, the goal gave St Gallen a 2-1 lead, but luckily Young Boys managed to nullify the own goal in injury time to make it 2-2.
