Former Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Fulham forward Dimitar Berbatov has shown he still has what it takes to wow crowds with his latest sensational goal.

AS Monaco were taking part in the 2014 version of the Copa Euro Americana, which is a friendly tournament that takes place in various venues around South and North America.

Baranquilla in Colombia was the venue for the meeting between the Ligue 1 club and Colombian side Atletico Junior, which the former won thanks to Berbatov’s incredible strike.

Body adjustment

Just before half-time a cross came in that was deflected off the back of a defender and the Bulgarian striker adjusted brilliantly to twist and guide a delightful volley into the far corner – you can watch it below.

Manchester United and Tottenham fans are no strangers to Berbatov’s considerable talent and regular watchers of the Premier League will have seen him pull off some quite incredible moments of skill and class.

His move to Monaco last January was in response to the cruciate ligament injury suffered by star man Radamel Falcao and he quickly endeared himself to fans of the principality club.
