If there is anyone we recommend you follow on twitter, then it is NBA rookie Joel Embiid who uses the social media site in a very different way to most people.

Embiid has attempted to reach out to both Kim Kardashian and Rihanna through Twitter about the possibility of taking each of the ladies out, the rook didn't privately message either of them but made it very clear to the social media world his intentions.

This bizarre courtship of a couple of the most famous woman in the world follows his attempted recruitment of LeBron James through twitter while the King was a free agent.

However, just like James' didn't respond to the attempts of Embiid, neither did Kim or Rihanna which seemed to anger the 7-ft center who couldn't work out why he was being ignored.

Despite her marriage to Kanye West, Embiid wasn't to be denied and responded in a despondent manner to the situation when he tweeted saying: "Ok so @kimkardashian hasn’t DM’d yet...... Should she be blocked too? I’m ready to block her though"

The rookie must've taken a little time to himself, blown off some steam and then promptly began to tweet about how he had moved on from Kim and found himself a new target.

He firstly tweeted some song lyrics: "B..... Do I look like care NAW, B..... Do I look like I care NAW🎶🎶" before following up with the title of a Chris Brown song "These girls ain’t loyal", obviously trying to mask the pain of losing Kim to Kanye.

Then Embiid broke some news to his 215k followers on Twitter, everyone would be happy to know that he had moved on, he tweeted: "BREAKING NEWS: Moving on from kk to Rihanna."

We admire the gusto of the 20-year old as he didn't waste any time in turning his attention to music sensation Rihanna, two minutes after breaking the news to his fans, he tweeted: "Hey baby holla at me!! Dinner at giorgios at 930pm @rihanna????"

No word of a response from the Barbados star, so it seems Embiid could still be out of luck on the love-front.

Even so, Embiid's strange approach to Twitter makes him one of the best follows around and we sincerely hope he continues to court woman and recruit for his team through social media, it makes for great entertainment.
