Felipe Luis will make his first start for Chelsea during the club's latest pre-season friendly against RZ Pellets WAC on Wednesday evening.

Luis starts

Brazilian full-back Luis joined the Blues from La Liga champions Atletico Madrid for an initial fee of approximately £16 million last week and will get an immediate chance to impress Jose Mourinho against Austrian opposition in Klagenfurt.

He is the only one of Chelsea's three new signings to feature, however, with Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa not involved in proceedings.

Cech return

There is a return for Petr Cech in goal, though, while veteran and club captain John Terry partners young Kurt Zouma in central defence.

Dutch starlet Marco van Ginkel continues his long-awaited recovery from a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament suffered during last season's Capital One Cup clash against Swindon Town.

Mohamed Salah - recently spared having to return to his native Egypt to complete military service - also starts, while Nemanja Matic anchors the midfield and Patrick Bamford leads the attack.

This will be Chelsea's third fixture of pre-season, and Mourinho will be hoping his charges can keep their 100% record intact following consecutive victories over Wycombe Wanderers and AFC Wimbledon.

Chelsea team to face RZ Pellets:

Cech, Ivanovic, Zouma, JT, Filipe Luis, Van Ginkel, Matic, Salah, Baker, Brown, Bamford.

Subs: Beeney, Delac, Ake, Romeu, Chalobah, Christensen, Swift, Boga, Solanke.
