Football News

It was announced this week on Raw that the final stop on the road to Summerslam next week will include Hulk Hogan.

It is the immortal one's birthday next Monday night, as he turns 61, and Scott Hall's tweet following this week's Raw has social media running wild at the prospect of an nWo reunion.

The former member tweeted: "Somebody say sumthin bout an nWo reunion..... #RAW"

nWo reunion?

The nWo have been rumoured to be set for an induction into the WWE Hall of Fame next year and this could be a way to build that up, even though it's still around nine months away.

Also next week on Raw, we will see the build up to the four matches announced this week as AJ Lee will go one-on-one with Paige for the title she dropped just over a month ago.

AJ will make her return tonight on Main Event following injury on last week's Smackdown and should respond to the comments made by Paige last night as she told AJ that she was her idol and it's an honour to be facing her.

Lack of Divas

Last night's Raw was the second in around two months not to feature a divas match after so much hope was put into the division with the three on-going rivalries as well as the third season of Total Divas being filmed. All Divas were easily buried last night as no one batted an eyelid.

The Miz and Dolph Ziggler also go one on one for the intercontinental championship that Dolph thought he won at Battleground. Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose might finally be set for their showdown as Dean will announce his stipulation for the match at tonight's Smackdown tapings, which could actually see the two fight over the briefcase.

And finally Randy Orton and Roman Reigns will go toe-to-toe again as both looks for revenge on the other. Last night also saw Chris Jericho beat Luke Harper to force the one on one match with Bray at Summerslam, now the family members are both banned from ringside.

And finally next week will see the return of Brock Lesnar and John Cena on Raw ahead of "The biggest fight of the summer" between the two. They missed this week but there was an excellent video package between the pair and they will both have the chance to have the final say on next week's historic episode of the show.
