SummerSlam matches announced on Raw

The penultimate episode of Raw before SummerSlam came to us live from Austin, Texas and kicked off with The Authority.

Seth Rollins, Randy Orton, Kane, Triple H and Stephanie headed to the ring and Triple H talked about SummerSlam and said it could possibly be the biggest card in history as he listed the match ups.

He announced Seth v Dean Ambrose for SummerSlam, and a beat the clock challenge tonight where Rob Van Dam will face Seth Rollins and Dean will face Alberto Del Rio with the winner picking the stipulation.

Stephanie then said her contract signing with Brie for tonight as well. Randy talked about his match that had jut been announced with Roman Reigns. Roman interrupted, was grabbed by a fan and then told Randy he was standing right there, whilst in the crowd. He then said he was gonna beat the Viper's ass for free tonight. 

Triple H then said Randy had Roman at SummerSlam but tonight he had Kane in a last man standing match that starts right now.

Roman Reigns v Kane - Last Man Standing

Roman took Kane down with a wicked clothesline before Kane hit a DDT. The fight spilled to the outside and Roman took Kane into the barricade but Roman was then driven shoulder first into the steel steps.

Kane tried to send him into the steps again but Roman reversed it and threw him into the barricade for a count of 6. Reigns was then sent into the barricade himself and Kane found a kendo stick and bounced it off Roman's back before hitting Roman in the face with the steel steps.

Roman then sent Kane into the timekeepers area and before he was sent head first into a steel chair. Kane was then punched and Roman delivered his kick from the outside. 

Kane then was sent into the steps that he set up on the ramp and into the barricade before he found a table under the ring and this gave Kane time to recover. 

Roman delivered a Samoan Drop and went for the Superman punch but Kane countered and delivered a choke-slam through the table.

Reigns made it to his feet at a count of 9 and Kane went for a tombstone on a chair but Roman countered into a DDT and hit the Superman punch. 

Roman then hit the spear and Kane couldn't get up in time to answer the ten count.

Winner: Roman Reigns

Damien Sandow was out dressed as Boomer Sonner next to a bit of heat from the crowd, he talked about how much better they were than Texas before home-town boy Mark Henry interrupted.

Mark Henry v Damien Sandow

Damien taunted Mark before kicking him but Mark took him down with a clothesline before hitting the worlds strongest slam for the win. 

Winner: Mark Henry

BACKSTAGE: Adam Rose was with the rose buds and was talking about a mirror. Rose asked if he would see a giant lemon if he looked into it and then looked. It showed him in a suit and he didn't look happy.

Dean Ambrose v Alberto Del Rio

Hulk Hogan was announced to be on Raw next week for his Birthday celebrations before the match.

Del Rio took advantage in the opening stages before Dean sent him into the turn-buckle. Del Rio delivered an enziguri for a near fall, before Dean took Del Rio down and reigned down punches.

Del Rio showed Dean into the barricade before rolling him back into the ring and hitting a double axe handle from the top rope. Dean tried a small package for a two count but was sent into the steel post shoulder first. 

Dean then sent Del Rio into the barricade, but Del Rio sent Dean into the steel post shoulder first again. Del Rio then threw Dean to the mat and delivered the kick to Deans face. 

Del Rio went for a kick on the steel post but Dean moved and he injured his leg before Dean flew out of the ring and took him out. Dean hit a missile drop kick from the top rope before the shoulders to the mid-section and hit a tornado DDT for a near fall.

Del Rio delivered a unique move from the top rope for another near fall and went for the cross arm breaker but dean rolled him up for a two count before he hit a clothesline. 

Dean went for Dirty Deeds but couldn't hit it and Del Rio picked apart the shoulder again and went for the cross arm breaker but Dean reversed and hit Dirty Deeds for the win.

Winner: Dean Ambrose with a time of 15:42

Rusev v Sin Cara

The match was exclusively on the app and Sin Cara was taken down by a kick and tapped to the accolade.

Winner: Rusev

Lana then talked about Putin and Obama and showed a picture of Putin with a tiger and Obama with a puppy. She then sang Happy Birthday to Obama in Russian but Jack Swagger made the interruption. 

Zeb and Jack got in the ring and told Lana to shut up because he hated the sound of his voice. Zeb said he was sick of hearing about Putin and Mother Russian and Rusev Crush because at Summerslam Jack is fighting for America and Rusev is fighting against it.

Rusev and Lana looked like they were leaving but Rusev came back and attacked Swagger with the flag and knocked him out of the ring. Zeb was left in the ring and Rusev backed him into the corner but Lana called Rusev off.

Dolph Ziggler v Cesaro 

The Miz was at ringside as it was announced Dolph and The Miz were going one-on-one for the IC title at Summerslam. 

Cesaro took Dolph down and looked like he had the upper-hand but Dolph hit the ZigZag from out of nowhere for the win.

Winner: Dolph Ziggler

Miz climbed into the ring after the match and raised the title in front of Dolph, but Ziggler went for a kick and Miz ducked out of the way and covered his face.

BACKSTAGE: Paige was with Byron and she said she wishes AJ a speedy recovery and told her she admires her, and it's an honour to be facing her for the Divas Title at Summerslam.

RybAxel v Stardust and Goldust

Goldust hit an atomic drop on Ryback before the tag was made to Axel who took Goldust down with an elbow whilst Stardust tried to involve the crowd.

Stardust came in and took Axel down by throwing himself at him before hitting a hip toss and Ryback tried to get involved but was sent into the steel post before Stardust hit Dark Matter for the win.

Ryback had already left his partner at the end of the match.

Winners: Goldust and Stardust

BACKSTAGE: Kane interrupted Triple H and Stephanie and handed his mask to Steph again.

Chris Jericho v Luke Harper 

Harper and Rowan headed to the ring without Bray and Harper went straight for Jericho taking the veteran down with a combination of punches and slaps.

Jericho fought back with slaps to the chest but Harper knocked him down with a clothesline. 

Jericho delivered kicks to the mid-section but Harper body slammed him for a near fall. Jericho missed a kick from the top rope and was planted by Harper who then hit a powerbomb but he kicked out at two.

Jericho hit the running bull dog before he knocked Rowan off the apron and rolled up Harper for two. He then locked in the Walls of Jericho and the lights went out and Bray appeared. Jericho delivered the codebreaker to Rowan and Harper before Bray came in and hit Jericho to force the DQ.

Winner via DQ: Chris Jericho

Jericho won the match meaning Rowan and Harper are now both banned from ringside at Summerslam but Bray delivered Sister Abigail to Chris and stood tall at the end.

Diego v Fandango

Hornswoggle was announced as Fandango's new partner as Summer and Layla again accompanied Diego.

Diego took the upper-hand but Hornswoggle tried to distract him but Fandango inadvertently knocked Hornswoggle off the apron and Diego hit the back stabber for the win.

Winner: Diego

After the match Hornswoggle was welcomed into the other team before Fandango attacked him so Diego and El Torito took him down.

BACKSTAGE: Randy Orton was with Renee Young and he showed last week's Raw and he told Renee that Kane is no where near as sick, twisted and sadistic as him and at Summerslam he will prove it.

Bo Dallas v R-Truth

After R-Truth broke Bo's streak last week this was a re-match with Truth looking for revenge for the attack he suffered after the match.

The two exchanged punches and Truth took Bo down before throwing him into the corner and hitting him in the face with a kick. Truth went for the split kick but Bo rolled him up and grabbed the tights for the win.

Winner: Bo Dallas

Truth attacked Bo after the match and Bo drove him into the steel steps. 

Bray was backstage and was talking about being different, he said he enters battle without his brothers at Summerslam but he is never alone. 

Rob Van Dam v Seth Rollins - Beat the Clock

Seth had to beat RVD in less than 15:42 in order to chose the stipulation for his match with Dean Ambrose at Summerslam.

Before the match RVD was removed from the match and Heath Slater was announced as his new opponent instead. Seth told Heath to get counted out but Heath refused and punched Seth.

Seth stomped on him in the corner before choking him, Dean then appeared at ringside and the distraction allowed Heath to hit a neck breaker for a two count. Dean then stole Seth's briefcase and took the contract out and ripped it up. 

Heath Slater hit a kick to the face of Seth after the distraction whilst Dean stole coffee and popcorn and poured it into the briefcase. Dean then stole JBL's hat and put it in the case before sealing it and the distraction allowed Heath to roll Seth up for the win.

Winner: Heath Slater

Seth opened and emptied the case after the match and destroyed the ring area.

Stephanie and Triple H headed to the ring for the contract signing as Brie was accompanied by Nikki.

Michael Cole was handed the mic as Triple H said he was to personally involved. Triple H and Stephanie kissed and Brie told them she was gonna throw up. 

Steph asked where Daniel was and Brie said he was recovering before asking if Steph had recovered from being arrested.

Brie said not only was she going to beat Steph at Summerslam, but she was going to embarrass her to prove Steph was nothing more than a fraud, failure and embarrassment to the McMahon family.

Brie talked about karma and signed the contract before handing it to Stephanie and calling her trash. Steph called Brie a wannabe reality star who stole the spotlight from her sister to make a name for herself of Steph at Summerslam.

Steph then signed the contract and the two had a stare down before Nikki was knocked out and Triple H shoved Brie into the corner. Nikki was pedigreed. Brie then slammed Triple H and Steph bounced her off the table and pedigreed her too.

Raw then ended with Triple H and Stephanie standing tall.
