Birthday bash

This past week on Monday Night Raw it was confirmed that Hulk Hogan will return the following for a special birthday bash; wish was also later confirmed on wwe.com.

The announcement also confirmed that special guests will be appearing at the celebration as fans started to predict who could appear or return to the WWE; with some big name legends popping up.

To celebrate the 61-year-old Hall of Famer’s birthday several big names have been confirmed to appear on the show next week; with a popular fans choice in the form of Sting looking highly unlikely.

The Nature Boy, Ric Flair will attend the celebration as will Paul Orndorff and Jimmy Hart. But you can expect to see several other legends to appear as well.

However, the biggest news comes after Scott Hall teased an nWo reunion on Tuesday morning when he tweeted, “Somebody say sumthin bout an nWo reunion……#RAW”.

nWo reunion

As you can imagine the fans were excited by this rumour and PWInsider have confirmed that both Scott Hall and Kevin Nash will appear on Monday Night Raw to celebrate Hulk Hogan’s birthday, confirming the nWo reunion.

Scott Hall has had a wonderful wrestling career which has been overshadowed by his legal problems as well as drug, health and alcohol problems.

He hasn’t stepped inside a WWE ring in over a decade, the night after the Insurrextion event he participated in a six-man tag team match alongside The Big Show and X-Pac as they took on Stone Cold Steve Austin, Bradshaw and Ric Flair; after this match he was released from his contract.

Hall of Fame

However earlier this year the WWE reached out to the former Intercontinental Champion as he was inducted into the Hall of Fame alongside some other massive names such as the late Ultimate Warrior, Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts and Carlos Colon, where Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash, X-Pac and Triple H joined Hall after his speech; reuniting The Kliq.

Kevin Nash returned to the WWE in 2011 and signed a legends deal upon his return, appearing in a number of Royal Rumble matches as a surprise entrant.

It is certainly going to be an exciting night next Monday, it still remains to be seen how this reunion will play out. It could see Hall and Nash ‘surprise’ Hulk Hogan when he is inside the ring, or the three founding members of this fantastic, legendry stable could come down to the ring together.

The one thing we know is that they won’t be getting booed, it will certainly be a great moment to witness and be a part of.
