Liverpool search for Suarez replacement

Liverpool have been searching for a replacement for the 31-goal striker since he left for Barcelona. Rodgers already has Daniel Sturridge and has signed Southampton a striker Rickie Lambert as well.

A deal for Queens Park Rangers striker Loic Remy was all but done, but the deal fell through. It's rumoured that it was due to a failed medical.

And now Liverpool are still yet to find a striker as prolific as Suarez. In recent days they have been linked with Colombian striker Falcao.

However Madrid looks favourites to sign him as he looks to join up with former team mate James Rodriguez at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Cavani's agent confirms offers

Edinson Cavani's agent, Claudi Anelluci has confirmed that the striker has received offer from both arsenal and Liverpool, saying: "I can confirm that Cavani heard proposals from Liverpool and Arsenal."

Anelluci has also confirmed that Cavani is interested in playing in England, saying: "(Cavani) Already said he would love to play in England, but has not yet made a final decision."

Liverpool interested in Bony

Liverpool have also been linked with Ivorian striker Wilfred Bony. However it is reported that they have reduced their interest in the Swansea striker.
