The final episode of Raw before SummerSlam came to us live from Portland, Oregon and was set to be a massive night as the celebrations for Hulk Hogan's birthday were in full swing.

Brock Lesnar made his return to Raw, accompanied by Paul Heyman sporting a new "Eat, Sleep, Conquer John Cena" shirt. His advocate talked about how bad things happen to good people when they step into the ring with Brock Lesnar.

Heyman told the audience about how Brock destroyed both Undertaker and The Rock in recent years and said that the CeNation should tune into SummerSlam this weekend because after this Sunday, they wont be seeing Cena for a long time.

He then reminded the WWE Universe of the time Brock and John met at Extreme Rules 2012, and how even though Cena won the match, Cena didn't walk out the same man. Heyman said that Brock was ill and only 50% for that match and this weekend he will get a 100% Lesnar and the beating he will receive will look like a Shakespearian tragedy.

Brock then rapped to Cena as a way of talking to him in his own language and pulled it off to a big crowd reaction. Paul then told the crowd that this is Brock's house now.

BACKSTAGE: Roman was preparing for his match that was announced to have been hand picked by the Authority.

Roman made his way to the ring and Corporate Kane came out to state that he was again the director of operations against the Authority. He said the Authority want to see how he fares against two men and out came RybAxel.

RybAxel v Roman Reigns

Axel tried to test Roman's strength, to no avail as Reigns hit the shoulder block. Axel then called Reigns a coward and punched him so Reigns punched him in the face and he then tagged in Ryback.

The two locked up and Roman knocked Ryback down with a clothesline. Ryback then took over after a distraction from Axel but Reigns fought back with a suplex and elbows to the face.

Axel then interfered again and allowed Ryback to hit a powerbomb before Raw headed to commercial. Axel was in the ring when Raw returned and was taking it to Reigns.

Ryback got the tag and whipped Reigns in to the corner but the powerhouse fought out and sent Ryback out of the ring. He then slapped Axel out of the way and Ryback drove Reigns into the steel post before Axel then did the same thing.

The two kept throwing Reigns into the post and the referee called for the disqualification, they then sent Roman back into the ring and continued the assault but Roman fought back hitting a Samoan Drop and his kick on the outside to Axel. Before throwing Ryback into the steel post and hitting him and Axel with the Superman Punch and delivering a spear to both.

Winner via DQ: Roman Reigns

Renee Young was in the ring after the match and she asked Roman about facing Randy Orton this weekend and he replied asking the crowd if he looks ready. He said he has never stolen anything from Orton but this Sunday he's taking everything he's got and asked what is a Viper when you've knocked it's teeth down his throat, a worthless worm.

BACKSTAGE: Randy Orton was with Corporate Kane and told him that he finds it funny that Roman isn't scared of him. Randy said he would get the job done at Summerslam, he will end Roman Reigns. Kane said Sunday will be one of the biggest challenges of his career and the Authority want to know he's ready so tonight, he's facing Sheamus.

Seth Rollins v Rob Van Dam

Seth started the beat down on RVD and took him into the corner but Rob fought back with kicks and a standing moonsault before Seth escaped him in the corner and began to stamp down on him.

RVD got the kick off the second rope before Seth rolled out of the ring and Rob went for his spinning kick on the barricade but Seth moved and Rob fell to the ground.

Rob then hit a variation of Rolling Thunder for a two count before hitting a top rope moonsault for another near fall. Seth then blocked a monkey flip and hit Peace of Mind for the win.

Winner: Seth Rollins

Seth headed up the ramp after the match and looked at Hulk Hogan's presents on the ramp wondering if Dean was there and he was he jumped out of the present and threw Seth back into the ring but Seth ran through the crowd and out of Dean's reach.

Dean then picked up the microphone and told Seth to run whilst he still can because there will be no running or hiding in their Lumberjack match in six days.

Stephanie was out next to "make a confession" to Brie, she said that as a principle owner it was her mission to do her best for the WWE Universe and all the superstars. She said that sometimes they receive information that could impact their lives and that's what happened here tonight.

She talked about Daniel Bryan and his rehab and introduced Bryan's physical therapist Megan Miller. She invited her into the ring and told Megan to confess. She then talked about Daniel and Brie and how hard she has tried to get Daniel back in the ring.

She said she can no longer be Bryan's physical therapist because she's been having an affair with Daniel Bryan. Stephanie then hugged her and Brie came out and asked why? Steph said Daniel used her and threw her away like a piece of trash.

Brie then slapped Megan and attacked Stephanie before locking in the Yes Lock and the officials came out to separate the two. Stephanie then said they are not waiting till Summerslam, they will settle this here tonight.

Jack Swagger v Cesaro

The former team mates went one on one as Swagger prepared for his Flag match this weekend against Rusev.

Swagger got the advantage of the former Paul Heyman guy slamming him to the mat before Cesaro swung the momentum in his favour and locked in an submission manoeuvre.

Cesaro then went for a knock down off the top rope but Swagger hit a belly to belly suplex but Cesaro replied knocking Jack out of the ring and straight into the barricade.

Cesaro tried to work on the injured ribs throughout the match but Swagger delivered a side-walk slam to create some separation.

Swagger then hit the Swagger bomb for a near fall before Cesaro got a roll up two count. Swagger then locked in the patriot lock and dragged Cesaro into the centre of the ring where he tapped.

Winner via submission: Jack Swagger

Zeb talked about the flag match after the match and told Rusev that Swagger will own him at Summerslam. The Russian flag then appeared over the ring and Rusev and Lana arrived and the two stared down.

Bray Wyatt and Chris Jericho were shown as part of a Michael Cole interview earlier in the day, Bray talked about how he helps people but has never called himself a saviour. He said he was a monster and an eater of worlds. He said that Chris exemplifies weakness and there is a pale horse on the horizon coming for him.

Chris said he wasn't a saviour, he is a survivor and one of the reasons for being a survivor is that you never know what you are going to get with Chris Jericho, he said at Summerslam he is going to follow the Buzzards and shove them right down his throat.

AJ Lee v Eva Marie

AJ had Eva in a headlock before Paige skipped out and distracted AJ. Paige skipped around the ring and Eva rolled AJ up for the win.

Winner: Eva Marie

Paige said that she wanted to apologise for knocking AJ off the stage. And then started a Roses are Red poem for AJ and told her she loves her leaving AJ with Eva, she attacked her from behind and threw her back first into the apron and into the barricade.

John Cena headed to the ring next and talked about Paul Heyman's promo at the beginning of the show. He said Brock Lesnar will not win this Sunday because for him to win he will have to make Cena lose and he is not laying down for Brock Lesnar.

He said he will undoubtedly lose his championship but it will not be this Sunday to Lesnar because he doesn't like the guy. He said he has heard "Lets go Cena, Cena sucks" but he comes out there every week with a smile on his face.

He said many of you ask when will Cena turn? When does he decide enough is enough and unleash hell? This Sunday he fights a beast and to beat a beast you have to become one. And this Sunday he will become a John Cena he isn't proud of but a John Cena that is necessary to keep his title.

He told Brock that if this was now his house then there was a stranger in his living room and he should come and try to kick him out.

Brock didn't come out and Cena then said that he will be the one who beats the one and this Sunday The Champ is here!

Brie Bella v Stephanie McMahon

Stephanie headed out in the same attire and told Brie that their match wasn't going to happen. Given Brie's actions earlier tonight, Brie slapped Megan and Stephanie said that Megan has decided to press charges and Brie was then arrested.

Stephanie mocked her as she was led backstage and told Brie if she makes bail she will see her at Summerslam.

Dolph Ziggler v Heath Slater

Dolph's opponent at Summerslam, The Miz was on commentary for the match. Heath took advantage in the opening stages before Dolph hit a drop kick to the face for a near fall.

Dolph hit the ZigZag and Miz tried to make a distraction but Dolph knocked him off the apron and into the Barricade before Ziggler was counted out.

Winner via countout: Heath Slater

After the match Dolph crawled back into the ring and offered his hand to Heath who tried to kick Dolph so he hit the ZigZag.

Randy Orton v Sheamus

The two heavyweights collided as Orton prepared for his match on Sunday against Roman Reigns and he seemed to have a mountain to climb as Sheamus went after him from the get go.

Sheamus was sporting a huge bruise on his bicep but it didn't seem to bother him as he went for ten beats of the Bourin but the Viper slithered out.

The fight boiled to the outside and Sheamus was driven spine first into the announce table, Sheamus tried to fight back into the match with a side slam and a suplex for a near fall.

Randy then rolled out of the ring for a breather and tried to bounce Sheamus off the barricade but Sheamus blocked it and bounced him off instead. Sheamus then hit ten beats off the Bourin.

Orton hit a backbreaker followed by a DDT but Sheamus hit a battering ram off the top rope, Sheamus went for The Brogue Kick, Orton went for the RKO but both countered and Sheamus climbed the top rope and Orton hit an RKO in mid air for the win.

Winner: Randy Orton

All the superstars were out at the top of the ramp to celebrate Hulk Hogan's birthday. Mene Gene Okerland and Jimmy Hart were out to announce Hulk Hogan. Out came the immortal Hogan who was then shown a video about his career.

Hogan then thanked the WWE Universe and said he was speechless, he said Vince McMahon gave him a subscription to the WWE network so that he could watch Summerslam.

Ric Flair then joined the party followed by Paul Orndorff and Roddy Piper, then out came the people everyone was waiting for, the nWo Kevin Nash and Scott Hall.

Scott told Hogan he looks sweet in the red and yellow but he came to see Hogan in Black and White, Hogan then ripped off his shirt to reveal his black nWo shirt.

Kevin Nash then started a Happy Birthday song but Brock Lesnar interrupted, Hogan squared up to him and Brock told him "Party is over Grandpa." Cena ran to the ring and told Brock it's his move.

Brock exited the ring and stared John down as Raw went off the air.
