Football News

Spanish athlete Victor Garcia’s steeplechase run was brought to a slamming halt today after a spectacular fall.

In the current European Championship in Zurich, Garcia only had one final hurdle to conquer to complete a heat in the 3000m steeplechase.

However, Garcia suffered a horrendous looking fall and he's reportedly suffering from concussion. The long distance runner told trackside doctors that he didn’t remember the fall at all.

Mo returns

Staying in the long distance category, Mo Farah is set to defend his 5000m and 10000m European crowns tomorrow.

After a below-par London Marathon and fitness issues, the 2012 double Olympic champion will be desperate for a result and to find some form.

Farah chose not to compete in the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow this summer due to not being 100% fit.
