Football News

On Monday Night Raw this week, Dean Ambrose felt the full force of Seth Rollins once again when he and Kane brutally attacked Ambrose during the show.

At the end of this week’s episode, Ambrose was choked slam through the announce table by Kane as well as receiving a Curb Stomp in the same place before falling victim to the same move but this time through a number of cinder blocks.

Medical attention

Unsurprisingly, these attacks lead to Ambrose requiring medical attention and he was eventually carried out on a stretcher by the company’s first aid professionals.

Now though, WWE have announced that despite Ambrose’s supposed head and spinal injuries, the former Shield member escaped the hands of all medical personnel and has gone missing.

WWE.com posted: “"At the time of bringing him backstage, he was responsive and was refusing transport to a local medical facility for further evaluation," said [Dr. Chris] Amann. "He had removed the straps and surgical collar, said he refused to go and we haven't seen him since.”

Movie role

Fans of the superstar should however not worry as it has also been reported that the 28-year-old is due to star in an upcoming movie made by WWE Studios and Lionsgate.

Filming for ‘Lockdown’ is rumoured to be starting this month, making Ambrose’s disappearing act well-timed. It must come as a relief to him and his supporters, though, that the time out he is taking is not for as serious an injury as the beating he received on Raw appeared to give him.

Ambrose may well be suffering physically however, following his loss to Rollins in an incredible Lumberjack match at SummerSlam last Sunday.

Ambrose and Rollins escaped the lumberjacks and battled it out through the crowd before eventually returning to the ring to be met with an interference by Kane. Rollins eventually won by striking Ambrose in the face with his Money in the Bank briefcase.
