Football News

It has become quite clear that Manny Pacquiao has a passion for singing, now the boxer has decided to welcome the return of the NFL by blasting out a power ballad in tribute.

Tribute to the NFL

Pacquiao is a very accomplished individual with many talents, aside from his incredible boxing career which currently has him as the reigning WBO Welterweight champion, he is also a politician in his native Philippines and as well as being a professional basketball player and coach.

Now Pacquiao may have a love for singing but it doesn't mean he is great at it (although good luck telling him that).

The boxer has clearly missed the NFL season and is glad to have it back, in tribute one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world sang a touching tribute on his love for the NFL on Fox Sports 1.

The Karaoke style ballad makes for a rather amusing piece, good job that Pacquiao is such a good sport when it comes to his singing.

Mayweather rumours

His tribute to the NFL comes amidst the speculation of an agreement being possibly reached for a superfight with long time rival Floyd Mayweather.

The pair have failed to agree on an occasion to schedule the fight that every boxing fan has been waiting for but rumours have began surfacing that there is a possibility that the bout could be sorted for 2015.

The reports were fuelled after Bob Arum, CEO of professional boxing promotion company Top Rank, explained how both networks were desperate to find an agreement that would see the fighters finally face off despite their age.
