Stoke City manager Mark Hughes is ready to raid Barcelona for a third time, as he plans a January move for teenage winger Adama Traore.

The 18-year-old has attracted widespread interest in the Premier League with Manchester United and Tottenham both also linked with the talented youngster.

However, it now looks as though a switch to the Britannia Stadium could be on the cards for Traore when the transfer window reopens at the turn of the year.

The Dutchman suffered a groin tear in a freak training ground accident, and will be unavailable for selection in Alan Pardew's side until Christmas at the earliest.
