Chris Jericho talks about his future

As many fans are already aware, Chris Jericho is set to go on hiatus again after Night of Champions whilst he goes on tour with his band Fozzy.

As well as this, Jericho also has the Eater of worlds tonight on the season première of Raw - inside a steel cage.

But last night Chris did a Q&A on Twitter with some of his fans and talked about all things wrestling, including what he thinks Eddie Guerrero and Chris Beniot would be doing right now if they were still here.

He said Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero would be "still kicking ass & working behind the scenes" if they were still with us. He also confirmed that he will not be a part of WWE's European tour that kicks off in a few weeks time and will see the likes of Paige and Wade Barrett return home to the UK for the last time in 2014.

Whilst that is bad news for UK based Jericho fans, he did give the people of Britain some good news as he announced that Fozzy are working on a huge UK based tour in the near future, which means he will be heading over to our shores some time soon.

For those who don't know, Jericho also does a podcast called "Talk is Jericho" and he talked about the fact that he has some amazing guests lined up but right now his highest rated interview on the show is the one he did a while back with WWE COO Triple H.

Whilst Jericho did confirm also that he wont be at Hell in a Cell at the end of October, he didn't say that he won't be back in the near future, so Chris could go on tour with Fozzy and return again next year following WrestleMania.

Before his return this year Chris said that he didn't want to return for no reason, he wanted something worth coming back for, Bray Wyatt was the reason Y2J returned this year and so far the feud has been a more underwhelming than many thought.

Final match

In order for Jericho to go out with a bang now at next week's Night of Champions pay-per-view, the build up for his final match should begin tonight and needs to keep the momentum rolling.

If he beats Bray Wyatt tonight then Bray will have to win next Sunday to settle the score, but it doesn't seem likely that the match will be a straight forward affair as they meet inside a cage and you have to think The Wyatt Family will involve themselves in some way.
