Ever since Adam Rose's debut with his Rosebuds and his massive bunny, there has been some speculation as to who the bunny might be.

A few months back the JBL and Cole show saw Dolph Ziggler talking to the bunny before turning round and seeing Zack Ryder quickly putting his shirt back on.

This added more fuel to the Twitter speculation that Ryder was the one beneath the mask until recently, when the bunny has began getting a lot more air time.

It's taken a while to build up with Rose's future as the party loving superstar a reason for much debate lately as it still seems Vince McMahon is not a fan, but finally there could be a hint of a decent storyline coming up for Rose as his bunny could be being unmasked.

It started a few weeks ago when the Bunny attacked Heath Slater during Rose's match with Titus O'Neil before this week he helped Rose get the win over Titus again as he took Slater out at ringside before climbing into the ring and delivering the splash from the top rope to O'Neil.

The current talk within WWE is that none other than Darren Young, O'Neil's former Prime Time players team mate could be the one under in the costume.

Lately Young has been gaining some heat for the Michael Sam issue, after WWE invited the openly gay footballer to Raw when they already had Darren on the show and when a fan asked Darren about it on Twitter, he seemed to agree by re-tweeting the question.

So, could this be a way of getting Darren Young back on TV after his recent ACL surgery? This could be a good angle for him to come back after Heath Slater because Titus has moved on and gained a new partner whilst he's been away.

What next?

But at the same time, what is this leading to? It would only ever be a midcard showdown that would probably see Rose and "the bunny" against Slater and O'Neil at a pay-per-view, but for right now, the fans seem to be loving a grown man in a bunny suit attacking Heath Slater.

And if it's getting viewers and ratings then WWE will be happy with it, even though Zack Ryder, who rarely gets any airtime unless he's put in a squash match with Rusev, could have benefited a lot more from this kind of storyline and Darren could have been put into something with more substance.

But you never can predict the route WWE are going to take and how long it will take until we find out his true identity, but until we do, we can just enjoy Slater being beaten up by an oversized rabbit.
