Published 1 Comments

6. Manchester City - Sergio Aguero, Yaya Toure, David Silva

Football News

One of the contenders for the Premier League, the reigning champions would want to dominate English football like the red half of Manchester have in the past.

With a star-studded lineup, Manuel Pellegrini is confident his side has the depth and quality to produce back-to-back titles.

Players to watch

Sergio Aguero - Since his debut against Swansea three years back, Aguero has been a fan favourite at the Etihad Stadium. The main man to find the back of the net for the Sky Blues, Pellegrini will be reliant on him to take charge.

The only hindrance is Aguero sustaining injuries in the last 10 months, but if he is fit there is a tough task in hand for the opposition defenders.

Yaya Toure - The playmaker of Manchester City. A leader by nature, Toure brings experience and his footballing genius whenever he takes the field.

With a pass success rate as high as 91.1 percent last season, Toure is the ace in the pack for City. The 31-year-old has delivered every time when required.

David Silva - Linking the midfield and attack, the Spaniard brings diversity to the City line-up playing different roles, as a playmaker, false 9 or winger.

Adapted to English football in no time after joining from Valencia, Silva knows fans expect him to be his absolute best every time and he won’t disappoint. A quick-thinking individual, his exceptional skills would take City forward.
