Manchester United vs QPR
Premier League
Old Trafford, 4pm KO

Manchester United host Queen's Park Rangers in a Premier League encounter at Old Trafford, with plenty of sub-plots to be considered.

Former Red Devils defender Rio Ferdinand is back at the club he spent a decade with, whilst manager Harry Redknapp can turn to Sandro and Niko Kranjcar once again after adding them to the ranks in west London.

Louis van Gaal also brought in players, although at a much higher cost in the window, and one of those additions starts.

Manchester United

De Gea; Evans, Rojo, Blackett; Rafael, Herrera, Di Maria, Blind; Mata; Rooney, Van Persie.

SUBS: Lindegaard, Shaw, Fletcher, Januzaj, Valencia, A Pereira, Falcao.

Green; Isla, Ferdinand, Caulker, Hill; Sandro, Kranjcar, Fer; Phillips, Austin, Hoillet.

Big-money bench

The big story is that Radamel Falcao is only on the bench for Manchester United, who start with Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie up-front.

Summer signing Luke Shaw is also on the substitutes bench, whilst Marcos Rojo makes his debut at the heart of the defence in a 3-4-3 formation.

For the Hoops, Ferdinand does start at the back alongside Steven Caulker, whilst Charlie Austin will be charged with scoring the goals that could cause an upset.
