Chelsea News: Mourinho aims dig at Ronaldo

The rumours surrounding Chelsea’s reported interest in launching a stunning bid to land Cristiano Ronaldo never really threatened to take off, but it would appear that Jose Mourinho is adamant that he makes it clear no agreement is ever going to be reached all the same. Yesterday reports broke carrying quotes from The Special One which seemed to criticise Ronaldo for his penalty miss which cost Real Madrid a Champions League final spot in 2012. On that occasion Ronaldo missed his penalty, and Madrid were dumped out by Bayern Munich, who subsequently went on to lose to Chelsea in the final. And, not content with merely pointed out his anguish at Ronaldo’s mistake once, Mourinho has yet again voiced an opinion which could further push a wedge between his relationship with the £60 million-rated Madrid star.
