The WWE have lost their way with the Authority

They have been the controlling force in the WWE for a long time, but have the Authority now become somewhat useless?

So far this year, the Authority has reformed Evolution and had an epic rivalry with the former faction known as the Shield.

They have destroyed former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan prior to his neck injury.

But now, they don't seem to be a cohesive unit and the two leaders of the Authority seem to have passed out of all relevance.

Night of Champions could be make or break for Bray Wyatt

This year has seen the return of Stephanie McMahon to the ring as her feud with Brie Bella was one of the best of the year so far.

Triple H has led the war on Daniel Bryan and the Shield but no just pretty much walks around in a suit making a random decision every now and again.

Once more, if we look at their opponents right now, they did start a feud with John Cena before handing it over to Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman.

Roman Reigns was at one point aiming to take down the whole Authority but recently he has just targeted Randy Orton.

I may not be the biggest fan of Daniel Bryan, but he was certainly offering something that has been missing of late, a character who targets the authority.

Group of individuals

Seth Rollins and Kane have been working together a lot, from them both attempting to end the careers of Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns, to tonight where they worked together to assault John Cena.

Randy Orton however, is the member of the Authority who keeps going off and doing his own thing and making us wonder when the Authority will fall apart?

I feel like the Authority need a nemesis who will target them as a group and be able to hold their own against the powerful group.

But who could be the man to take on the Authority?

Well in my opinion, there is only one man who should take the role, but its more like men since I refer to the Wyatt Family.

The three very unique members of the Wyatt family would provide fantastic opposition for the Authority as they square off against all three members of the Authority.

Wyatt targets people with self-proclaimed power, so why wouldn't the most powerful group in the WWE be an ideal target for him?

Wyatt's return

Wyatt wasn't booked for Night of Champions after ending his fairly disappointing feud with Chris Jericho and I feel he was missed.

He needs a feud that would bring him back to the fore fold of the WWE and one with the Authority could do just that.

Also it would give the WWE the chance to try him out as a fan favourite and see how he works.

The only thing that they need to move away from, is having Wyatt the victim of constant beat downs, over recent weeks he has done just that and people aren't really taking to it.

I think a Wyatt family - Authority feud would be a great idea for the progression of the Wyatt characters.
