Manchester United fans are embarrassed by a supporters group who are set to fly a plane over Real Madrid's next fixture Villarreal on Saturday.
As reported by the Manchester Evening News, United Reel are set to fly a 'Come Home Ronaldo – United Reel' banner over the Estadio El Madrigal, in an attempt to persuade the Portuguese superstar back to Old Trafford.

Unhappy fans
However, it appears that the Manchester United faithful aren't happy with the expected stunt, despite the player being a hero at the Theatre of Dreams. One fan even labelled the stunt as 'embarrassing', as United continue to be linked with his services.
A number of Manchester United fans took to Twitter after it was announced that the banner would be flying over this weekend's clash:
@MatthewGrif18 tweeted: Embarrassing!!
@11danrob tweeted: Am afraid it's not cristiano we need.... Get a hummels banner over Dortmund. Will do more good. We've enough attacking options.
Manchester United fans, of course, still sing Ronaldo's name on a consistant basis at Old Trafford, but it appears that many of them aren't ready to go to extreme lengths in order to bring him 'home'.
Ronaldo link
Manchester United - who sold the World Player of the Year in 2009 for a then record £80 million - have been credited with interest in their former star for some time now, but it remains to be seen as to whether Dutch coach Louis van Gaal steps up his interest in the star forward.
The Red Devils, of course, already have an array of talent in their attacking line up, with the likes of Wayne Rooney, Juan Mata, Adnan Januzaj and Robin van Persie plying their trade at he club. As well as that quartet, Manchester United can also call upon Radamel Falcao and Angel di Maria after the pair arrived in last summer's transfer window.
United fans, though, will be well aware that they are in need of defensive improvement after shipping a hatful of goals so far this term. After a humiliating defeat to Premier League new-boys Leicester City in their last outing, Manchester United will be looking to bounce back with a win against West Ham this weekend.
The Cristiano Ronaldo return link, however, may well drag on for sometime.
