The pairings for this afternoon’s foursomes at the Ryder Cup have been announced by Team Europe and Team USA.

By the end of today's action all 24 players will have competed at Gleneagles.

Debutant Jamie Donaldson will be partnered by Ryder Cup veteran Lee Westwood in the opening game.

Westwood will be looking to add to his 21 points as they take on the American pairing of Jim Furyk and Matt Kuchar. All four players sat the morning action.

Word number one McIlroy and number three Garcia are currently 1UP against Keegan Bradley and Phil Mickelson with four holes left to play.

In the final foursome McIlroy’s fellow countryman Graeme McDowell will play with Frenchman Victor Dubuisson, who is making his debut at the Ryder Cup, as they come up against the pairing of Mickelson, the most experienced player in the tournament, and Bradley.
