Football News

FIFA-related excitement reached fever pitch on Friday with the release of the 2015 edition of EA Sports' world-famous and highly-addictive video game.

As if often the case with a game that enjoys such universal popularity, the contents - most notably, the individual player ratings - often lead to serious divisions and debates between fans of football clubs all over the world.

Traditionally, the ratings of the top teams and the biggest names tend to attract the most attention and this year that appears to to be the case once again with plenty of arguments already being had between FIFA enthusiasts and passionate supporters who feel that their favourite player has been overlooked or treated badly.

GMS have already brought you the respective ratings of Arsenal and Manchester United today and now is is the turn of Premier League title rivals Chelsea.

Eden Hazard: 88
Cesc Fabregas: 84

Ruben Loftus-Cheek: 56

Diego Costa: 86
Didier Drogba: 81
Loic Remy: 80
Isaiah Brown: 60

At first glance those ratings seem quite fair, although you could say that the decision to place Drogba ahead of Remy is slightly harsh - and should the gap between Courtois and Cech be bigger now?

Best Chelsea XI (4-2-3-1)

If we use these ratings as a guide, Chelsea's best XI on the game would appear to be:

Courtois, Ivanovic, Terry, Cahill, Luis; Oscar, Matic; Fabregas, Hazard, Willian; Costa.

Chelsea fans, what do you make of these ratings? Any you feel are too harsh/too high? Which would you change, given the chance and which XI will you use on the game? Let us know your thoughts on the matter in the comment box provided below.
