Philadelphia 76ers rookie Joel Embiid has got caught up in the nude photo hacking scandal after making some fairly controversial comments.
I'm sure we're all aware of the hacking scandal that has been on Twitter for a few weeks now as some big name female celebrities have had their private images stolen.
It has been an unsurprisingly embarrassing time for stars such as Kate Upton, Jennifer Lawrence and Kaley Cuoco.
But now, the NBA rookie has had his say on the matter after he has admitted to only just getting round to see the pictures.
Embiid has appeared confused by the public response to the images and he has claimed that: "we've all seen a woman's body."
Talking to TMZ, Embiid has questioned why people are so fascinated with the pictures and why everyone is so worked up over them.
He doesn't quite grasp the excitement amongst fans of seeing their heroes as regular people and seeing what is underneath all the sexually provocative pictures of them.
Embiid's argument is easy to understand, he does after all have a point, but perhaps he is overlooking the most obvious argument that most male members of society would make.
Embiid's words are just more in a long line that have been said since the first pictures emerged and it is hard to see them being the last ones spoken on the topic.
Good use of time?
After making his comments just weeks before the start of the new NBA season, many may be asking why Embiid is spending his time searching for nude pictures on the internet?
I'm not sure we want to know the answer to that question but he will certainly have his work cut out for him over the coming season.
Last year was certainly a year to forget for the 76ers fans as they saw their team equal the record for the longest losing streak in the NBA.
They will have to improve by a lot to have a better year this time round as they aim to possibly have an outside chance of the play-offs.
