Kobe Bryant is a straight shooter, he has never been one to mince his words and when the Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard was asked about fellow teammate Nick Young and his girlfriend Iggy Azalea, he didn't pull any punches with his response.

The Black Mamba chuckles to himself after being asked the question and you can see the serious nature in his response as he emphatically gives the nod to Australian rap artist Iggy over his teammate 'Swaggy P'.

The question was posed during the Lakers media day as reporters were given their first chance to interview players and coaches before the franchise embark upon the upcoming 2014/15 NBA season.

Bryant was participating in a quick-fire round of questions on behalf of and found it very easy to dismiss the success experienced by Nick Young through the first eight seasons of the 29-year-old's career.

It is no secret that Young and Azalea have been dating but the Aussie music star has only been on the scene for a couple of years having really established herself as a major artist in 2012, despite Young's experience of the professional ranks with 8 years and 4 NBA team's, Bryant still believes Iggy is more successful.

Kobe would certainly come around if Young were to help him reach his sixth NBA championship and that is what continually drives the Black Mamba as he enters his 19th season in the league.

As for Young, he was certainly enjoying the attention he received on Media day with the Lakers, check out this video below to see some of the hilarious answers he gave.
