He has been the one of the most talked about names in the NFL for the last few months, ever since being drafter by the Cleveland Browns, Johnny Manziel has tried his best to make a name for himself.
The former Heisman trophy winner came to the league with a big reputation and so far, he hasn't disappointed the fans.
We've seen him drunk on an inflatable swan, using a pile of cash as a phone and even jump behind the bar to help out for a few hours before jetting off to Las Vegas.
During his very short NFL career, Manziel has had many descriptions, he is a rookie, back-up and now his new one as a councillor?
Johnny Manziel the councillor, it doesn't really make much sense to see the man who drinks bottles of champagne like its going out of style become a councillor, but thats what he claims he will do for one special young man.
Who is that young man? Well its the current Heisman trophy winner, Florida State University Quarterback Jameis Winston.
Winston missed the game against Clemson two weeks after being suspended by the team for making inappropriate comments on campus.
It was the latest in a string of incidents that have surrounded the young Quarterback since he won the prestigious honour.
Well Manziel has claimed that he will reach out to Winston - to whom he is a close friend because he believes he knows the pressure of being the current Heisman winner.
Manziel claims: "Jameis is a guy I've had a good relationship with and want to help him in as many ways as I can."
He continued "For him right now, just try to let as much time pass by to try to let some of these things blow over".
Who knows how well Manziel's counselling skills will work out or if they will help the young NFL prospect, but in the end, Manziel is an NFL player, and the guidance of an NFL professional can only be beneficial to a young player, right?
Manziel's time to shine?
Manziel has barely made headlines since the NFL season began and although he is yet to make a start, it could soon be his time to shine.
The Browns are currently 1-2 this season after losses to the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens.
Brian Hoyer started the season as the Browns starting Quarterback and led them to victory over the New Orleans Saints but has come under some pressure lately.
Many people before the season predicted him to have been benched by week four and as we enter week five with the Browns coming off their bye week, Manziel could be a game or two away from his first NFL start.
They face a trip to the Tennessee Titans in week five and if they wanted to acclimate Manziel to life in the NFL, would a game against a 1-3 team be a good time to do it?
