Manchester United vs Everton
Old Trafford
Premier League
Sunday, 5th Oct; 12pm KO

Manchester United will be hoping to make it back-to-back victories this afternoon as they play host to Everton at Old Trafford.

After suffering a 5-3 defeat against Premier League new-boys Leicester City, the Red Devils responded last weekend as they secured all three Premier League points against West Ham United.

The Toffees did the double over United last term, so the Red Devils will be hoping to make amends against Roberto Martinez's side. Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has had to make changes to his starting line-up, however, with Juan Mata replacing the suspended Wayne Rooney and Ecuadorian winger Antonio Valencia coming in for the injured Ander Herrera.

Live Team Sheet confirmed

Manchester United XI

De Gea, Rafael, McNair, Rojo, Shaw, Blind, Valencia, Di Maria, Mata, Falcao, RVP (c)

Lindegaard, Thorpe, Blackett, Fletcher, Fellaini, Januzaj, Wilson

Howard, Hibbert, Jagielka (c), Stones, Baines, Barry, Besic, Pienaar, Mcgeady, Naismith, Lukaku

Joel, Gibson, Eto'o, Oviedo, Osman, Browning, Alcaraz

Goals expected

Despite the absence of Rooney, Manchester United have an array of talent in their attacking line with the likes of Robin van Persie and Radamel Falcao starring for Van Gaal's side. As well the duo in attack, the likes of Angel di Maria and Juan Mata should also prove a threat for the Red Devils.

Everton, meanwhile, also have strong options in attack, with the duo of Romelu Lukaku and Steven Naismith hoping to trouble United's inexperienced back-line.
