This is a guy who was leading the line at 38, at the highest level, against arguably one of the top three centre backs in the world on Tuesday night.

You can't expect more than an hour from the man who practically invented the 'false nine' at 30, but you also have no right to expect to receive the kind of performance that was on display at the Etihad Stadium either.
