Football News

The WWE has endured some tough times over recent months what with star's walking out, financial woes, and accusations of racism rearing their head but up until now they have been able to rely on one thing at least - top-class title fights for much coveted Title belts.

That might no longer be the case however after WWE Superstar Dolph Ziggler hinted today that a certain Intercontinental Title Belt currently in his possession may have gone missing in unfortunate circumstances.

Ziggler took to Twitter to tell fans about the mishap, with United Airlines being held to account for misplacing the wrestler's bags on route to Monday Night Raw it seems.

Ziggler still managed to find the funny side in the process:

"Hope @united gets me my bag for #RAW um, anyone in Brooklyn sell replica intercontinental titles? asking for a friend..." wrote the current incumbent of the belt.

"Um @VinceMcMahon Holograms are so in: Michael Jackson, Tu Pac, etc #RAW should do that with intercontinental title tonight."

Continued updates

Ziggler wasn't leaving anything to chance ahead of Raw in New York tonight, going on to offer Triple H some advice to help prevent any embarrassment come show time:

"OK @tripleh hear me out, push #raw back an hor. Show an Ep of SUITS, just in case any random airlines are running late @united.

"Maybe SUITS are on a case of I don't know, off the top of my head... maybe a missing championship?"

It certainly doesn't look too promising with just hours to go but hopefully those in charge of both the WWE and United Airlines come up with a solution pretty sharpish.

Monday Night Raw

The missing Intercontinental Title Belt may end up stealing the show on Monday Night Raw but that seems unlikely considering the WWE's confirmation today that Roman Reigns will be making an appearance to give WWE fans an update on his injury rehabilitation.

The event at the Barclays Center will also see the continuation of one of WWE's recent controversial story lines, with Russian heel character Rusev set to take on The Big Show once more.
