Adrian Peterson is currently in the midst of child abuse charges while further allegations are being made in reference to his believed reckless off-the-field personality and the suspended running back has finally broken his silence on the matter.
Peterson speaks out
A recent story broke detailing an incident involving Peterson and a transaction made from a credit card linked to his foundation 'All Day' involving a payment for a sex orgy.
With the disastrous situation Peterson is in with charges of reckless or negligent injury to his child, this kind of story is the last thing he needed and he has broken his silence over the recent claims:
Peterson took to his official Twitter account to warn the general public, he said: "It's SAD how people these days will believe anything reported by media sources that don't take the time to be GREAT!!!"
The suspended Vikings running back also broke his silence over what stance he would take when he makes his court appearance on Wednesday.
According to FOX Sports, if prompted by a Judge, Peterson would enter a plea of not guilty to charges he faces on child abuse.
Peterson will stand trail for the first time and his court appearance will be in Montgomery County, Texas at 10am Eastern time on Wednesday.
The charges which have been filed against the 29-year-old stem from an incident involving the discipline taken against his 4-year-old son, Peterson had chosen a switch (small tree branch) to spank his child with at his Texas home earlier this year.
Even more incredible rumours are beginning to surface against the Former-Most Valuable Player of the National Football League.
As well as the sex orgy possibly funded by his charity, Peterson is also being accused of rape in 2011 around the end of the regular season that year.
The subject of the lengthy police investigation is reported after a night at a hotel involving "drinking, arguing and sex."
The future football career of Peterson certainly hangs in the balance, one of the most gifted athletes of all time may never return to the gridiron if the reports of his off-the-field antics really come to light.
