Dundee FC players celebrate with Randy Orton RKO

Randy Orton is one of the most high-profile names in WWE, having been world champion an enormous 12-times. He is now a viral sensation after his finisher, the RKO, got the meme treatment.

Orton has been RKO-ing all over the world these past few days, with the 34-year-old super-imposed into all manner of videos, vines, and photographs, with Arturo Vidal, Sepp Blatter and countless others having felt his full force.

But the RKO has now moved out of the digital world and into real life and, more specifically, onto the football field. This is thanks to the players of Dundee FC, who celebrated a goal this weekend with a nod to Orton.

Gary Harkins scored the second goal for Dundee FC during their comfortable 3-1 win over Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership and, for his troubles, the midfielder was RKOd by teammate Jim McAlister.

It’s the sort of celebration that could get these two into trouble with manager Paul Hartley if he does not see the funny side, but it would appear they got away with it.
