Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool target Andre Ayew has made the decision to change agents so that he can have the best possible chance of securing a move to a big club next summer, according to French publication L’Equipe.

As was reported earlier this week the Ghana winger is a transfer target for a host of top Premier League clubs, and it’s now being claimed that he is keen to make a leave Marseille at the end of this season, despite only stating in May that he was happy there.

Ayew decision

L’Equipe, as relayed by Le 10 Sport, say that Ayew has switched agents, and will now be represented by Italian Federico Pastorello, as he seeks to ensure that he ends up at the biggest club possible. The 24-year-old performed well at the World Cup this summer, and his suitors are unlikely to have been put off with his form in Ligue 1 so far this term as he has two goals and two assists in seven appearances.

Of all the clubs said to be interested in him it’s believed that Liverpool are the most open to doing business, with manager Brendan Rodgers still trying to concoct a winning formula following the exit of Luis Suarez.

Liverpool move?

The Reds have been linked with Ayew for some time now but didn’t add him to their books in the summer, instead opting for the likes of Lazar Markovic and Adam Lallana.

Those looking to sign Ayew, who is currently earning £60k-a-week - United and Arsenal included - might end up fighting for his services is January, as Marseille won’t want to lose him for nothing when his current contract ends in the summer of 2015.

The player himself may be preparing for a worst-case scenario wherein his deal expires before he finds a new club, but that prospect looks unlikely given the fact that Louis van Gaal and Arsene Wenger are also monitoring his situation closely.
