The WWE have been threatened by a man with a vendetta after the company were awarded control of wwe.org.

According to a report thedomains.com, the domain name was dormant and the owner, just after registering the domain name, offered to sell the trademark holder - World Wrestling Entertainment - the domain for $50,000

Well, as you can imagine the WWE refused to pay such a ridiculous amount for a domain name they wouldn't even use and took the case to the courts for infringement of copyright.

Unsurprisingly, Vince McMahon and co won the case almost entirely due to the original owner registering the site name entirely in bad faith, with his purchasing it and then offering it to the company in such a short space of time.

Revenge Promised

It turns out that the original owner of the domain wasn't too happy with the decision and has promised to exact out his revenge on the company. Although the company won the case, it has yet to actually get ownership of the site, as the original purchaser wrote on it yesterday.

In the piece that is far too long to repost here, the crazy fan promises court battle for the rest of his life and he will keep registering domain names for the WWE to fight him. Here are some highlights:

"last time, you said i was threatening and blackmailing you, no i was not. this time i am... i have nothing to lose. i swear god i will destroy your wwe within a year or less. even if i will flight it for the rest of my life."

You can check out the rest at this location, but he did leave a little warning for Vince McMahon.

"i swear god, you must regret it. no need to reply, but you can forward it to your CEO."

This is just weird, i'd like to say that it is a first for the WWE, but my faith in the human race isn't that high after seeing all this.
