Anderlecht vs Arsenal
UEFA Champions League - Group D
Constant Vanden Stock Stadium
22nd October, 2014; 7:45pm kick-off

Arsene Wenger has been forced to select third-choice goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez for the crucial Champions League clash with Anderlecht in Belgium.

With Polish stopper Wojciech Szczesny suspended and back-up David Ospina out injured, responsibility falls to the 22-year-old, despite his only appearances coming in the League Cup.

Should anything happen to the Argentine during the match, then teenager Ryan Huddart will be called in to make his debut on a big European night. The Gunners currently sit second in the group on three points, but defeat tonight would throw them into the mix after an opening day defeat in Dortmund.

Calum Chambers returns from injury and starts, whilst Danny Welbeck leads the line in the continued absence of Olivier Giroud.

Team sheet reaction

Wenger has been relatively aggressive with four midfielders all capable of scoring goals ahead of Flamini, although Jack Wilshere will also be expected to sit a little deeper.

Alexis Sanchez and Santi Cazorla will be expected to create the chances for the Gunners, whilst Welbeck will look to add to his hat-trick of goals against Galatasaray.

Should things not go to plan, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is the favoured preference off the bench, although Podolski and Campbell are a more traditional attacking threat.
