Hell in a Cell is just two days away and boasts the double main event of John Cena verses Randy Orton and Dean Ambrose verses Seth Rollins both inside the Hell in a Cell structure.

The pay-per-view also boasts two divas matches with Paige and AJ Lee going one-on-one for the Divas Championship and Nikki and Brie Bella colliding for bragging rights and the loser having to be the winners assistant.

Whilst it is great news that there are two divas matches on another pay-per-view this year, the current Divas Champion AJ Lee has stated in a recent interview that she would have been prepared to compete against Paige inside the steel, so why was she held back?

Speaking to Mike Jones of DC101, the three time Divas Champion said: "I can tell you for sure that women like myself and Paige are down for it, and I think more than capable of hanging with the guys in that kind of scenario, because we're insane and we like to jump off of stuff!"

"I think if anyone could do it we could, but if it's not in my generation, it needs to happen someday, and I really think women could handle that."

Title clash

Either way Paige and AJ meet again with the title on the line this Sunday, and AJ also talked about who the next contender for her title could be.

"I see so much potential in people who haven't particularly gotten that opportunity yet, like Emma and Summer and even Lana. I think they are interesting characters and women who have a lot of potential and I would love to something that's vastly different with one of those girls. Just someone we haven't seen yet get a chance."

Whether or not we see a female Hell in a Cell match in the future still remains to be seen, but AJ  v Paige will be no let down this Sunday when they leave it all in the ring in favour of that title.
